Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of LearnOS at learnosapp.com, including its CLI and MCP server. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use LearnOS.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use LearnOS.
• Keep your login details and access tokens secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
• Give us accurate information when you sign up.

Your content

You own the content you add to LearnOS: courses, notes, highlights, and the rest. You give us permission to store, process, and display it so we can run the service for you. That includes sending it to AI providers when you use AI features. If you share a course or publish it to Discover, you also give us permission to show it to the people you shared it with, or to the public. You can stop sharing at any time.

Only add content you have the right to use. Respect the licenses of material you import from other sites.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

• break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
• upload malware or content meant to harass or harm others;
• try to access other users’ data or get around security or usage limits;
• overload the service, or scrape it beyond normal use of the API, CLI, and MCP server;
• resell the service without our permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

AI features

AI-generated answers, summaries, flashcards, and other output can be wrong or incomplete. Use them as a study aid, not as an authority, and check anything important against the sources.

Free tier and changes to the service

LearnOS is currently free to use, with usage limits on some AI features. We may change, limit, or discontinue features. If we ever introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you before you’re charged anything.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. If we shut down the service, we’ll try to give reasonable notice.

Disclaimers and liability

LearnOS is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date above, and we’ll let you know about significant changes. If you keep using LearnOS after an update, you accept the new terms.
